Registered Nurse (Casual - Night Duty)

Established for 50 years, TriCare is one of Queensland’s largest private owners and managers of retirement communities and aged care residences.
TriCare’s Pimpama Aged Care Residence, a 127 bed facility located off the M1 Motorway, half way between the Gold Coast and Brisbane, is seeking a casual Registered Nurse with current AHPRA registration.
We will keep you busy as our employees go on leave. We are offering night and weekend shifts, but you can also opt in for occasional morning/afternoon shifts. Attractive penalty rates are payable according to the Nurses Award 2010. In addition, you will receive 25% casual loading on top of your base rate.
TriCare’s Registered Nurses report directly to the on-site Clinical Manager. Your role is responsible for working with and guiding your personal care team to deliver a high standard of care to our residents.
Favourable skills, experience and attributes include the following:-
• High level of experience, preferably at supervisory level (12 months +)
• Specialty nursing skills, including pain management treatments;
• Knowledge in ACFI and its associated documentation;
• Adept in using clinical management software (tablet technology) at the point of care;
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
