POLICE are searching for a woman missing in flood waters in Roma.
At around 12.45 a vehicle, which was driving along Miscamble Street, entered into flood waters at the intersection with Northern Road. The vehicle was swept off the side of the roadway and people nearby tried to help the two occupants out of the car.
A boy was rescued from the car and a woman got out of the vehicle but rescuers could not keep hold of her. The woman was swept away in fast flowing flood waters.
The boy was transported to Roma Hospital for a medical check.
A search from land, water and air was conducted but the woman and the vehicle have not been located.
