CELEBRATE summer this year by taking a short break from the city to indulge in all-inclusive luxury at Spicers Peak Lodge in Queensland's Scenic Rim.
Spicers is offering guests the opportunity to stay three nights between now and February to enjoy a magical summer with lazy gourmet picnics in expansive grounds, fresh seasonal produce and summer cocktails by the pool to let the stress of all other summer commitments float away.
During this summer celebration, guests will receive a bottle of Veuve Clicquot upon arrival and will be able to enjoy two, one-hour spa treatments in the new day spa, Spa Anise, for free.
Three-night packages start from $3150 per couple and is inclusive of all meals and beverages.
Along with the bottle of Veuve Clicquot and the spa treatments, the package includes luxury accommodation for two with the choice of king singles or a king bed and 24-hour beverages including wines, beers, spirits, juices, tea, coffee.
Guests will also be treated to continental and a la carte breakfasts, three-course lunch or gourmet picnic hamper, gourmet coffee and tea throughout the stay, a selection of canapés served fireside each evening, seven-course degustation dinner with wines to match including cheese selection, with ports and liqueurs following dinner.
Spicers Peak Lodge was awarded 2011 Best Luxury Accommodation in Queensland at the Queensland Tourism Awards and Best Fine Dining in the Brisbane and Darling Downs region at the 2011 Savour Australia Restaurant and Catering Awards for Excellence for the South- East Queensland region.
The Lodge is an architecturally stunning mountain retreat two hours south-west of Brisbane and about three hours from the Sunshine Coast. The retreat is surrounded by World Heritage-listed Main Range National Park.
