Cas McCullough, with son Adam, will launch her website Mumatopia on August 14.
CAS McCullough was once a frustrated mother who found it difficult to be properly informed and prepared for pregnancy.
Now, the Chuwar mother has created a one-stop-shop for mums-to-be, which will provide every resource imaginable so Ipswich women can have a smoother pregnancy.
Mrs McCullough’s business is called Mumatopia.
The core of the venture will be her own doula service, which helps local mothers through the process of a natural childbirth.
But she will also provide contacts for every motherly service imaginable, from breast-feeding councillors to clinical psychologists who could provide help for anti and post-natal depression.
Mrs McCullough said her priority was women who needed emotional support.
“When I was pregnant I found it very frustrating trying to get advice and information,” Mrs McCullough said.
“Mumatopia is a one-stop-shop for pregnant women and mums living in Ipswich who are interested in childbirth options, conscious parenting and eco-friendly family living.”
Mrs McCullough’s website also provides a litany of in-depth articles exploring sensitive issues such as post-natal depression.
The launch of Mumatopia will feature a boutique market at Sadlier’s Crossing shop, Precious Packages, from 4pm to 8.30pm on Saturday, August 14.
