IPSWICH residents are being reminded they can find information about their medical expenses online through Medicare Australia to save paperwork at tax time.
Human Services Portfolio General Manager Hank Jongen said Medicare benefit tax statements for 2009-10 are available immediately through Medicare Australia's Online Services.
Medicare Australia's Online Services also allows people to:

view their Medicare Safety Net balance, claims history, organ donor registration decision and child's immunisation history.
More than 1.6 million people have already registered to use Medicare Australia Online Services, including 344,398 in Queensland. People can register at medicareaustralia.gov.au/online or by visiting their local Medicare office.
