HUNDREDS of fans are expected to welcome teen sailor Jessica Watson home to Queensland when she makes a public appearance in Brisbane on Wednesday.
Jessica, who made history by becoming the youngest person to sail around the world non-stop, will meet fans and talk about her 210-day voyage at the main stage at Brisbane's Queen Street Mall from 1pm (AEST).
The Sunshine Coast teen, who recently turned 17, was 16 when she completed the journey on May 21.
The journey was initially expected to take her 240 days.
