Rape case in court in July

A WOMAN who was allegedly raped at a doctor’s surgery west of Ipswich is expected to be cross-examined in court later this year.

Lawyers for a GP accused of raping a female patient and sexually assaulting four other women at a doctor’s surgery west of Ipswich appeared in Ipswich Magistrates Court yesterday to set the charges down for a hearing. The doctor’s rape charges have been set for a committal hearing on July 14.

The four sexual assault charges will be mentioned at the end of the hearing.
