IF West Moreton Anglican College teachers seem to have been sporting a more rugged appearance lately, the answer lies in their furry upper lips.
During November, the moustachioed men have put away their razors for Movember, raising money and awareness of men’s health issues such as depression and prostate cancer.
WestMAC geography teacher Justin Deane is among the eight ‘mo bros’ putting away the razors.
Mr Deane said he was looking forward to the time he could shave off his “extended handlebar”. “It is just itchy and prickly and this time of the year it is also really hot,” he said.
Money raised goes to the Prostate Cancer Foundation of Australia and national depression initiative Beyondblue.
