the worse thing is it takes so many tragedies until something is done, my kids are always told to look for drivers cause they dont always look for you when crossing a road.. .. i feel deep empathy for the family..xoxo

How terribly sad it is for a lovely young mans family to have lost him in that way. We live in the area and our children attend the brassal primary as well as the high school...The police need to get down along that road more and more. While I was waiting at the primary school to pick up one of my children i observed a father of the local school consuming alcohol (spirts) while waiting to pick his child up. If this is not enough for the police and our local government to make changes to the roads both hunter street and pine mountain road we dont know what willmake them do anything. this young man should not have passed in this way and things need to change. I have never been in a state that has so many bad drivers, I am terrified to turn into the high school gates i watch in my mirror when turning in hoping and praying this time please dont let any speeding driver coming behind me hit me from behind. I was even road raged by some crazy mother at brassall school...because she could not drive aroiund me to park in front of me. Then the lights at hunter street and pine mountain road people racing the arrows parking across then the kids having to cross between cars stuck in both traffic ans school kids. it has frightened me so many times watching the kids cross that part of the road, Tell us why the local police are always seen in vogel road with radar and why they are not policing the most dangerous roads, they are both 40 zones. The only policing we get which is not much is at pick up time when the poilce may be there when the police on foot fine those miothers taking more than two minutes. wow parents park illegally and all along that pick up zone strip. Driving on these roads is a total nitemare. I am even to afraid to take my kids out on the freeway and i dont unless they reall have to be with me, what wrong with this state, people need to be punished and those who are good need to be rewarded..I have reported bad xones many times to local police and nothing happens...someone has to lose a loved member of their family before anything is ever done. I drove on that section of road this afternoon after the accident was cleared and I saw some one with flowers..I hope that everyone who can will place flowers there tomorrow for the young man who is sadly gone...I know i will be today placing flowers there tomorrow for him and his family. To his family, From another family in brassall we are so sorry to hear of your loss.

....Do you know how many times I have seen our lolly pop lady Jump out of the way of the cars rushing through, on crossing on hunter street. that poor lady has so many close calls I have even spoken to her about it. I am even terrified of my kids crossing there, I let them out and I watch them get across the road safely, the plice need to get down there and put in place the hoon laws for those who hoon and maximum penalties for those who speed in a 40 zone. we all need to petion the government to much much more along that road, to keep not only our kids safe but to keep our memebers of the community safe.
