Defence kids know what 'B' stands for

AMBERLEY Child Care Centre has been brought back from the dead and is now guaranteed to remain open for the near future.

Now operated by B4Kids, the centre has been bolstered by a cash injection which will help upgrade playground, cleaning and maintenance areas.

Amberley Child Care manager Nicole Lobegeiger said in just over a month B4Kids had restored stability to the centre.

“It really is a great place to be at the moment,” she said.

“The ABC Bear sign is gone and now B, the little fellow who represents B4Kids, is up and he is proving a drawcard,” Ms Lobegeiger said.

“We really love what B stands for - B Happy, B Loving but most importantly B 4 Kids.”

Amberley is just one of 21 defence centres taken over by B4Kids Pty Ltd during the ABC receivership process.

“Since B4Kids took over the reins, parents have confidence in our centre once again and inquiries have increased,” Ms Lobegeiger said.

“Defence personnel and their families have a demanding role in supporting our community and Amberley Child Care Centre is critical in allowing the flexibility and family support to ensure they can perform their roles.”
