SHOPPERS will be amazed by more than the bargains next month when some stupendously mystifying magic descends on Riverlink Shopping Centre.

Master magician Elio Simonetti and his glamorous assistant Eva Salleh will be filling the school holiday void with illusions so mind-bending they will turn your brain inside out.

As the only Australian magician to have performed in front of the British Monarchy, President of Italy and Australian heads of State, Mr Simonetti has more than a few tricks up his sleeve.

Ipswich marks the second stop of the dramatic duo's four week tour of 'The Magic Show' and Mr Simonetti said they were always looking to add a twist to the classics of magic.

“We perform illusions that have been around for centuries and also invent our own tricks,” he said.

“Often we will take an old effect and breathe new life into it by creating a new way of accomplishing it.”

Mr Simonetti said this was achieved by choreographing a brand new sequence of sleight of hand or inventing a new secret gadget to make the impossible happen.

“This is particularly satisfying because it baffles modern audiences, who are really quite savvy, and even mystifies other magicians,” he said.
