QUEENSLAND sporting clubs and teams can sign up now to tackle men's cancers this season, for Cancer Council Queensland's Call To Arms campaign.
Regional fundraising manager for Cancer Council Queensland, Vicki James, said Call To Arms would raise funds and awareness to fight men's cancers.
“Teams simply announce a game date any time in July, all players wear a yellow armband and make a gold coin donation, and crowds are encouraged to dig deep and donate,” Ms James said.
“Call To Arms is a great campaign as it gives men the opportunity to show their support for men who have survived cancer, those currently facing the cancer fight and to remember mates who have lost their lives to cancer.”
For more information, or to register a team in the Call To Arms campaign, visit www.calltoarms.com.au or call 1300 65 65 85.
