FLOODING in parts of Laidley reached higher peaks on Monday than in the 2011 floods, according to Lockyer Valley Regional Council mayor Steve Jones.
RESIDENTS in low-lying areas of Ipswich needed little prompting to start the enormous task of packing up their belongings on Monday.
