Your chance to celebrate the kids of Ipswich

THE QT is keen to showcase the success of our region's kids through a new initiative which will enable parents to share their stories and photos via the website.

Whether a great performance at a school swimming carnival, helping out in the community, or academic success at school, we want to celebrate the efforts of our youth.

As part of recent improvements to QT Online, we have provided a direct way to share your news and photos through Your Story and Share a Photo.

Already, readers have begun to use the feature to share their great photos of the region as well as news events, including during the recent floods.

Links to Share Your Photo and Your Story can be found on the home page of the website, just under the list of most popular stories on the right.

To share your news, you must first be registered on our site so you have your own login.

You can do that straight from the share your photo or story section.

There is no cost to registering.

You can also post an Event or a Public Notice, for free, to let people know what's going on in the community.

It's all about creating a closer knit community in Ipswich - one that celebrates its successes every day.
