EMERGENCY services may call in the SES to help them retrieve two patients after their car went down an embankment in Beerwah this morning.

The car was said to have gone off Peachester Rd, near Coochin St, about 10am.

A Department of Community Safety spokeswoman said one patient had chest and leg injuries, while the other escaped unscathed.

Short delays are expected while the scene is cleared.

The car was originally reported as going 50 metres down the embankment.
