Thieves steal ATM from Forest Glen shop

POLICE tried to intercept two vehicles after thieves stole an ATM from a Forest Glen food shop this morning.

Police said about 3am, a silver 4WD reversed into a Mons Rd store and the occupants of the car pulled the ATM from the store and put it in the back of the vehicle.

The 4WD and a white station wagon then left the scene, and were sighted by police several times in the area.

Police attempted to intercept the vehicles, but had no success.

The 4WD was last seen on the D'Aguilar Hwy heading towards Woodford.
