Thick smoke from fire impacts traffic on Warrego Highway

POLICE are directing traffic around the scene of a fire on the median strip of the Warrego Highway.

The fire was reported near the intersection of Seminary Rd about 1.30pm.

Police say thick smoke was affecting traffic in both directions, however the fire is almost under control and the road has been partially reopened.

No houses are under threat.
