The Cookie Monster wows kids
ONE of Sesame Street's famous faces dropped into Ipswich yesterday and there wasn't even a cookie in sight.
Cookie Monster visited the children at Ipswich Central Childcare just to let them know he would be back with all of his friends in only two months time.
The children gathered around to meet the lovable character they have grown to know so well.
Pre-school assistant Rachael Hogan said the kids were bubbling with excitement all day awaiting Cookie Monster's arrival.
"They have been talking about him all day. His letter of the day is very popular," she said.
Cookie Monster will return in Elmo's World Tour, to be staged at the Ipswich Civic Hall on April 21.
Elmo will be joined by Abby Cadabby, Big Bird, Grover and Zoe, as they navigate their imaginations through the world.
