Teen hurt in fall from horse

A TEENAGER is being taken to hospital after falling from a horse at Ripley.

The 18-year-old rider called for help from a mobile phone after coming off the horse near Binnies Rd about midday today.

Paramedics called for help from police to locate the injured woman in bushland.

A Department of Community Safety spokeswoman says the rider is being checked for spinal injuries but is in a stable condition.
