Soundwave tickets sell out fast
THE Brisbane and Melbourne Soundwave Festivals have sold out in record time this morning.
Rock and metal music fans were quick to snap up tickets to the 2013 events in Queensland and Victoria, which will be headlined by American metal gods Metallica, Linkin Park and reunited punk rockers Blink 182.
Tickets for the Brisbane event, to be held at the RNA Showgrounds on February 23, sold out in just six minutes according to the festival's official Twitter account.
Festival organisers said they expect the Sydney event to sell out soon as well.
