Shane Webcke launches Adopt a Family
RUGBY league legend Shane Webcke has thrown his support behind The Chronicle's Adopt a Family program for the fifth year in a row.
Mr Webcke was in Toowoomba this morning to officially launch the appeal which will begin in November.
"I've always loved being a part of it (the appeal)," Mr Webcke said.
He said the appeal struck a chord with him because if it had been around when he was a child, his family may have been one of the recipients.
The appeal, which has been helping families in the Toowoomba district for 18 years, will help 180 families this year.
