Search for missing city teen

POLICE are appealing for the public's help in finding an Ipswich teenager who has been missing for more than a month.

Shaune Lewis Gibson, 19, was last seen at his sister's house in Booval about 6pm on August 9 and has not made contact with any member of his family since.

Detective Senior Sergeant Gary Dixon said it was unusual for Mr Gibson to be absent for such a long period without contacting his family.

The teenager was reported missing on August 28.

He is described as Caucasian, 175cm, with a slim build, short brown hair and a moustache.

He was last seen wearing a long-sleaved black shirt and long black pants.
