A CLOTHING exchange, vegetarian burgers and bike accessories were just some of the elements that made up the first sustainability market at University of Queensland Ipswich yesterday.

Students embraced all things green, recycled and sustainable at the market, which took up much of Challinor Court.

Attendees browsed information stalls, exchanged their old clothes for pre-loved pieces, purchased plants and local produce and chatted at a community garden stall.

Students also cooked vegetarian burgers and kangaroo sausages.

Organiser Karin English said the market promoted sustainable products and services that could be accessed in Ipswich.
