Robbers target bottle store

POLICE are investigating the robbery of a bottle shop at Redbank Plains last night.

Three young males walked into the BWS adjoining the Redbank Plains Tavern about 7.40pm, taking three bottles of spirits from the shelves.

A staff member confronted the men as they attempted to exit the store, standing in their path.

Police said that one of the offenders then lifted a bottle above his head and ordered the employee to get out of the way.

The employee cooperated and the trio walked away with the loot.

CCTV footage is being obtained in order to provide detailed descriptions of the offenders.

Anyone with information should contact Crime Stoppers on 1800 333 000.
