Readers will love what's on offer at Drug Arm book sale
BOOKLOVERS will be out in force this week for the annual Drug Arm Ipswich Book Affair at St Paul's Anglican Church.
Ipswich Mayor Paul Pisasale will officially open the popular event today with activities continuing until Sunday.
Readers can spend hours trolling through a variety of pre-loved, quality books.
Special cooking demonstrations will take place today and tomorrow at the Jamie Oliver Ministry of Food kitchen while tomorrow has been themed Children's Day, when little ones can enjoy everything from story-telling to face-painting.
Saturday will feature a horticultural discussion while Sunday is creative arts day, which will include an art display and live musical performances.
All proceeds from the event go toward assisting Drug Arm to reduce the harm created by alcohol and drugs in the community.
