Rain staying for the week

RAINY conditions that began on Saturday will continue into the week.

The Bureau of Meteorology forecasts a shower or two for Sunday, followed by a few showers on Monday that will build to a possible storm on Tuesday.

Thursday will be sunnier, and conditions should brighten for a fine Friday.

Temperature-wise, the predicted maximum of 30 degrees on Saturday will remain the same for Sunday, before falling to 29 degrees on Monday, 27 degrees on Tuesday and then slowly rising over the rest of the week.

Predicted minimum temperatures will remain at 20 to 21 degrees until Wednesday, when they begin to drop ahead of a predicted minimum of 16 degrees on Thursday.
