Police seize 46 mobiles in illegal prostitution raid

POLICE have raided an alleged prostitution call centre in Brisbane, seizing 46 mobile phones.

Ending a four-month operation into illegal prostitution in Brisbane, officers attached to the Prostitution Enforcement Task Force arrested a 35-year-old woman on Sunday.

The arrest comes after police searched a call centre and allegedly located 46 mobile phones, many which had the capacity to operate two phone numbers.

A 35-year-old woman was charged with offences including carrying on the business of providing unlawful prostitution.

She will appear in Holland Park Magistrates court on December 14.
