Police hunt armed robber through bushland

DETECTIVES are using closed-circuit television footage to try and track a man who robbed a Collingwood Park fish shop Wednesday morning.

A man armed with a knife threatened a staff member and demanded money, after entering the Collingwood Drive business about 11.24am.

He took off into bushland with an undisclosed sum of cash, prompting a search involving about 10 crews of police and the dog squad.

The search failed to locate the suspect.

It was the second armed robbery at the fish shop within a week.

Two masked men, one of them armed with a gun, robbed the shop last Thursday night.

Both offenders are still on the run.
