Child with serious injuries in vehicle rollover

UPDATE: A CHILD has been rushed to hospital in a serious condition following a crash at Redbank Plains this afternoon.

The vehicle rollover was reported on Redbank Plains Rd about 1.30pm.

Firefighters assisted one person from the vehicle, which had rolled onto its side.

An ambulance spokeswoman says a child has been taken to Lady Cilento Hospital in a serious condition.

A man has been taken to the PA Hospital in a stable condition.

The police forensic crash unit and scenes of crime has been called in to investigate.

Redbank Plains Rd has been closed for several hours as a result, with diversions in place.

 

EARLIER: EMERGENCY services have been called to a vehicle rollover on Redbank Plains Rd, Redbank Plains.

Initial information suggests two people may be injured.

Paramedics are assessing the occupants of the vehicle.
