NiE _ Sporting Glory

This year we have already seen many great sporting feats in both the Summer Olympic and Paralympic Games. Have you ever dreamt of competing at a major sports event or pulling on the green and gold to represent Australia in a sporting arena? Perhaps you have played in a grand final for your local sporting club, crossed the line first in a race or have watched your favourite team lift the winner's trophy. We all like the feeling we get when we as individuals or our team achieves something on the sporting field. In Australia, we are very passionate about sport because it has played an important role in shaping our national identity. Research has shown the positive impact sport has on our health, our society and education.
