New Star Wars films on way after Disney deal

STAR Wars fanatics will be treated to at least one more sequel after the Walt Disney Company bought filmmaker George Lucas's company and its popular franchise for more than $4billion.

The deal was made late Tuesday and includes the rights to a new film, set to be released in 2015, and the treatments for two others.

According to fan site Starwars.com, Lucas, who previously rejected the possibility of more Star Wars films, confirmed in a video interview he had already created the story lines for three more films.In a statement released on Wednesday.

Disney chief Bob Iger described Lucasfilm as "one of the greatest entertainment properties of all time".
