Motorsport mecca: vehicles worth $100M in spectacular parade

David Nielsen

IPSWICH residents lined the streets waving flags and cheering to welcome the V8 Supercar transporter parade as it rolled through town.

The value of the trucks, V8 cars and equipment was more than $100 million.

Motorsport fans are getting ready for the Coates Hire Ipswich 400 that roars into action tomorrow at Queensland Raceway.

Yesterday's parade was just as taste of the action to come.
