UPDATE: Gary Donaghy from Newtown has been identified as the man killed in a motorcycle crash near Felton.

The 55-year-old was riding his motorcycle on the Toowoomba-Karara Rd when he collided with a ute towing a horse float.

Mr Donaghy was forced from the road and came to rest with his motorcycle in a gully.

No one else was physically injured, but the three occupants of the utility were visibly shaken at the crash site.

YESTERDAY: The Forensic Crash Unit is investigating a two vehicle crash in which a man has died.

Preliminary investigations indicate the crash between a motorcycle and a utility towing a horse float occurred on the Toowoomba-Karara Road in Felton just after 2pm yesterday.

The motorcyclist, a 55-year-old man, died as a result of his injuries at the scene.

No one else was physically injured in the crash.
