Men wanted on gun, drug offences in US arrested in Sydney

TWO men will be extradited to the US for allegedly running an illegal gun supply route to Australia.

The men, aged 31 and 44, were arrested in Sydney on Thursday. They are wanted in the US for firearm and drug offences.

The arrests followed an investigation into an illegal supply route between Nashville, Tennessee and Sydney.

In October, a number of men in the US were arrested in Nashville.

More arrests are expected.
