ROBBIE Marshall will be the headline act at a North Brisbane race this weekend.

The Fernvale product, now one of Australia's finest motocross, supercross and freestyle riders, will be one of the top attractions at the 20th annual Glenn Fien North Brisbane Cup.

Marshall has become one of the top all-rounders in the country competing across the three forms of riding.

The 27-year-old rider finished inside the top three in successive Australian Supercross Championships from 2004 through to 2006.

Organised by the North Brisbane Junior Motorcycle Club, the event is named in honour of Glenn Fien who founded the North Brisbane Cup in 1992.

Club spokesperson Jim Feehely said the club was excited to have riders of Marshall's quality.

Mick Doohan Raceway (60 Raubers Rd, Northgate) gates open at 9am with practice from 11am followed by racing.
