Man tries to lure teen into car in the street

A 17-YEAR-OLD woman has told of a man trying to lure her into his car on a suburban Ipswich street.

Police said the woman ran home and told her parents a car pulled up beside her as she was walking on Ishmael St, Camira about 2pm yesterday.

The woman said the man opened the door of the car and tried to entice her to get inside but she refused and ran home.

Goodna police are investigating the incident.
