Lycra and a latte - it's time for cyclists to have a say

Polka Dot Images

LONG rides, lycra  and lattes ... it's a way of life on the Sunshine Coast.

Mind you, not everyone's always happy about it. In a recent poll asking about the biggest turn-offs at cafes, "cyclists in lycra" got the tick from 16% of respondents.

Then there are always the arguments about cyclists riding in packs on the road - seems it makes some drivers a bit cranky.

But now it's time for cyclists to have their say - not about traffic, not about lycra, but what it is that makes a cafe great for the cycling community.

Where are the best spots for cyclists to grab a coffee and what is it that matters most when they get there?

We've heard of cafes offering special discounts for cyclists but what else do cafes need to do to attract the lycra set?

The door's open. Cyclists, have your say!
