LNP set to unveil contents of an explosive dossier on Miller

THE Queensland Times has learnt the LNP is planning a major attack on under siege Bundamba MP Jo-Ann Miller in State Parliament next week.

The well-placed source revealed the LNP had compiled an extensive dossier on Ms Miller's actions over the past year and was ready to use it.

They said the LNP also had a further bombshell to drop on Ms Miller in the final parliamentary sitting week of the year.

"They have got material that shows she has misled a parliamentary committee, which is a sackable offence," the source said.

"The LNP is not going to let up . . . they can smell blood in the water."

There have been relentless calls for Premier Annastacia Palaszczuk to dump Ms Miller from her Cabinet after her constant string of headline-making gaffs.

Opposition Leader Lawrence Springborg said Ms Miller had single-handedly brought the Palaszczuk Government into disrepute, but he said Premier Palaszczuk was bound by her election promise to Queenslanders to operate her Cabinet with 14 members.

"If Annastacia Palaszczuk expands her Cabinet then that is a clear broken promise," he said.

"If that eventuates, it is a broken promise within the first nine months of office and a broken promise of a key election commitment. A broken promise is a broken promise irrespective of which way they try to spin it."
