Lights, camera, action for Beenleigh Theatre Group
IT'S time for lights, camera and action for the actors from the Beenleigh Theatre Group as they prepare to bring you their latest production titled The Music Man.
Filled with music, songs and dances, the play tells the story of a travelling salesman who gets his foot caught in the door when he falls in love with the small town librarian.
Director Sally Daly said it was a show not to be missed.
"For those coming to the show can expect a traditional 1950's American musical," she said.
"This is one of the classic old style musicals and we have tried to be faithful to that.
"Audiences will see a live 15 piece orchestra on stage as well as some fantastic dance numbers which is sure to wow them."
The Music Man will open on Friday, October 26 and run each Friday and Saturday nights, as well as Saturday afternoons until November 10.
Friday and Saturday performances will begin at 7.30pm and 2pm on Saturday afternoon.
