FIREFIGHTERS have brought a grassfire under control at Leichhardt.
The small fire was burning through a gully near the Wulkuraka train station from about noon on Tuesday.
Two crews conducted back-burning in the area and managed to keep the flames away from nearby houses.
They left the area about 2pm.
