IPSWICH JETS have adopted a detailed reconciliation action plan that outlines actions they will take to promote the objectives of Reconciliation Australia.

The plan will help close the gap between the welfare, education and vocational opportunities open to indigenous Australians as compared to other Australians.

The plan will be on display on Saturday at North Ipswich Reserve when the Jets host Souths-Logan in their annual Indigenous Appreciation Game.

Inaugural Reconciliation Australia member Bill Lowah said the Jets were "spearheading" reconciliation in the community.

Jets CEO Brad Wolens said club captain Keiron Lander and Ian Lacey were prime movers behind the plan and were great ambassadors for the club and their people.
