House fire at Redbank Plains on Tuesday morning

POLICE are treating a house fire at Redbank Plains this morning as non-suspicious.

Neighbours at the Bottlebrush Cres home phoned triple-0 about 6.30am with fears the 44-year-old female resident was inside.

The Queensland Fire and Rescue Service attended and extinguished the blaze which had been contained to a front room.

Police said the woman was away visiting family in Roma and had been notified about the fire.

The house sustained damage to one room and the fire was extinguished by 6.35am.

Investigations are continuing.
