Floods force postponement of hospital appointments

GYMPIE hospital has been forced to postpone scheduled appointments as local flooding continues.

All chemotherapy, specialist outpatients and theatre appointments for Thursday February 28 and Friday March 1 were postponed.

A spokeswoman said staff were in the process of contacting patients who would be affected with a view to reschedule as soon as possible.
