Flood latest: Lockyer Valley road closures

LATEST: The Lockyer Valley evacuation centre is at Laidley High School, Alfred St. Evacuees going to the centre should take bedding, clothing, medication, etc.

The Lockyer Valley Regional Council has advised the following roads are either closed or affected by rising waters:

  • GLENORE GROVE: Gerhke Rd,
  • KENSINGTON GROVE: Thallon Rd
  • REGENCY DOWNS: Lorikeet Rd
  • LAIDLEY: Drayton St, Edward St, Mulgwie Rd
  • THORNTON: Bonnell Road
  • WITHCOTT: Jones Rd

OTHER ROADS:

  • Blenheim Rd
  • Brightview Rd closed in three sections
  • Fifteen Mile Rd at Fifteen Mile
  • Koreelah St at Upper Lockyer
  • Kunkels Road at White Mountain
  • Lake Claredon Rd at Lake Claredon
  • Lefthand Branch Rd
  • Mcgarrigal Road at Laidley Creek West
  • Mount Sylvia Rd
  • Mulgowie Road at Townson
  • Postmans Ridge Rd, Helidon Spa
  • Rockside Rd
  • Summmerholm Rd.
