Firefighters called to blaze at Lifeline warehouse

FIREFIGHTERS were called to the Lifeline warehouse at Raceview early Thursday morning after smoke was seen coming from the rear of the building.

Two crews arrived just after midnight to find a drum on fire outside the Briggs Rd building.

The fire was extinguished in about 20 minutes and there were no reports of structural damage.

The cause of the fire is unknown.
