A fire is believed to have been triggered by welding work about 2.30pm, quickly spreading across three large sheds and one smaller shed on the Warrego Highway property.

Police advised that the fire was still burning at 4pm, with a large amount of produce lost.

There are no reports of injuries.

EARLIER: Firefighters are battling a large blaze at Sprengers Produce store on the Warrego Hwy at Haigslea.

A QFES spokeswoman says several crews are working to control fires in two hay sheds and a third shed at the site.

The initial call came through about 2.30pm.
