Footy fans gear up for finals
FASSIFERN has got footy fever.
With the A-grade and Reserve grade Bombers both flying into this weekend's Ipswich Rugby League (IRL) grand finals club secretary Maz Verall will be cheering wildly for her team.
She is just one of hundreds of fans who will make the trip along the Cunningham Hwy to cheer on their boys.
"We've got two buses full of supporters coming up so far," she said.
"Not to mention the people who will be driving here."
She and a team of dedicated Bomber fans have made more than 200 maroon and white flags which will be on sale at the North Ipswich Reserve gates.
The Reserve Grade Bombers will be taking on Goodna while in A Grade they will play Brothers.
