Family pays tribute to Denni North

INDONESIAN police have confirmed they are treating the death of Queensland woman Denni North as suspicious but have released few details about how she ended up face-down in her Bali swimming pool.

The 33-year-old blond beauty moved to Bali from Brisbane early last year when she was offered a job at the exotic Cocoon Beach Club at Seminyak, near Kuta.

She was found dead in the pool of her villa on Sunday.

There have been unconfirmed reports she was hosting a party in the hours leading up to her death.

The Department of Foreign Affairs has offered assistance to Ms North's family.

Her mother Wendy thanked the community for their support on Facebook.

"Thank you everyone all over the world, family, friends for your kindest condolences for my vibrant, beautiful baby girl," she wrote

"She touched so many people with her magnificent personality - RIP my Beautiful Dennielle Enid North"
