Employee held at gun point in robbery

POLICE are hunting a man who robbed a Springfield service station employee at gun point Tuesday night.

Wearing a balaclava and carrying a firearm, the offender entered the store on Woodcrest Way about 9.50pm, demanding cash from the attendant.

He ran from the store with an undisclosed sum of money.

Nobody was injured.

Police said the offender was described as Caucasian, about 183cm tall, wearing a balaclava, hooded jumper and long, dark pants.
