Drugs seized in property raid

A 40-YEAR-OLD man has been charged with drug offences after Clifton police raided his property on the Toowoomba Karrara Rd.

Officer-in-charge Sergeant Guy Smidt said more than 500 grams of marijuana and more than 1000 seeds were seized during a raid on the man's Ellangowan property on Sunday afternoon.

Sgt Smidt said several utensils used to smoke the drug as well as a grinding device were also seized.

The man is due to appear in Warwick Magistrates Court in the New Year.
